But it's better if you do..

I just watched the movie Closer because I've been sick in bed for two days and secondly, because it features the delightful Natalie Portman. There was one line that stuck in my brain, "Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off, but it's better if you do."
Uhhhm, yeah, sound familiar? Panic at the Disco, those hijacking sons of bitches. They named two of their songs after this single line in the movie.. and I used to think they were original. Anyway, super killer movie, maybe not for us single ladies, as the plot revolves around a twisted love.. square? and never comes to much of a conclusion. The film repeatedly questions human fidelity and if we are capable of committing to one person for life. Definitely makes you revaluate past relationships.. and current.

She's such a fox!

Miami Horror.

Love Love Love this song & video.

Urban Outfitters.

I first discovered Urban Outfitters in Montreal last May and have been addicted ever since. They sell everything trendy from house furnishings, to clothes, to records, and everything is reasonably priced. These clips are from there '09 Holiday catalog:

The day the decide to come to Saskatoon is the day I will have no cash flow left.

I feel like I should've been born in the 70's.

New Calvin Harris just in time for holidays, hopefully this is the soundtrack to every party I attend.

Ps. Polaroid camera's? If they still exist I'll need one for my next holiday extravaganza.

I almost like the video more than the song, although I do think he should have cheesed out the dancing a bit more. If only I could end everyday with a warehouse dance sesh with Chromeo..

ABSOLUT-ly inspiring.

I NEED to live here.

All I need is Ten Bajillion dollars and a plane ticket to Kuala Lumpur.

Baaah Humbug.

It occured to me today that I haven't bought a single Christmas gift for anyone.. I blame it on my upcoming trips distracting me. In a futile attempt to make up for my serious lack of Christmas spirit I spent my afternoon shopping. Of course, I ended up coming home with a gift for myself. I suck. Maybe no one will notice their lack of present with me wearing these bad boys?

First pair of hightops. Hello!

And above all I now own an awesome kite.

This is my latest fashion creation.

Excuse my messy hair. What do you think?

Too cold to snow.

It's -45 in Saskatoon today.
It's +30 in Sydney Australia.
Why haven't I left already?

Lords of Babetown.

Maybe I'm a sucker for long blonde hair.

Well hey man, we're filming a show too.

Peak season easily wins as my favorite MTV show. It's like the all Canadian version of Laguna Beach.. plus snowboarding. Hello!
Anyway, I found this "behind the scenes" clip of some dudes who ran into the MTV crew while they were filming in Whistler. Funny!

Uh Oh.

Someone told me my blog homepage looked exceptionally similar to the Twitter homepage. I don't have twitter, so I can't say how valid their opinion is, but I'm not willing to take that chance. Expect some changes in the near future.

Uni-awesome.

Honda finally came up with something cool, although I have a feeling this unicycle would make me fat & lazy.

So Fresh & So Clean.

I've never been huge on skate video's... until now.

I See You.

There are billions of people in the world, and any single one of us has a very small chance of having anything greater than an infinitesimal effect on the grand scheme of things, it's very likely that someone is influenced by you. I can virtually guarantee that your regular behaviour patterns breed copycat behaviour in others.

You are a role model.

Keep that little nugget of info in the back of your mind, and always behave accordingly.

Revelation.

Turns out being a Rev Girl has its perks, not only did I have a tremendous evening, I came out with over one hundred dollars and six cases of free Rev. I'm going to be Rev'd up for the rest of my life.

Getting REV'd up.

My serious lack of funds are causing me to give up my saturday night and work as a "Rev Girl" handing out coolers to drunks at Scratch tonight for an extra $75. That extra cash flow might be used to construct these delightful Christmas packages for the people I love best.

Christmas brings out the craft in me. If theres any income left I might just have to hit up Value village for some cheap literature and make me one of these fabulous book wreaths. Librarians, please divert your eyes.

Poster Boy.

Poster Boy is an underground, anonymous street artist based in New York city. Armed with just a razor he creates his works by butchering billboard ads. Check the video below to see him in action.
